This is a short biography of
Mutiara Putri Pratiwi. She is one of students in creative writing. She is the
one who likes art in that class. Mutiara was born on August 25th 1996 in Salatiga. It is in central
Java. She was born from married couple, Heni Pudjowasan as her father and SAS
Sulistyorini Pratiwi as her mother. She was the second child from two siblings. She has a brother
named Sandy Anwar Suryaatmaja.
The first educational program that she attended was when she entered elementary school at 2002 and graduated at 2008. At that time she got her first achievement which are 3rd place in dancing competition. At 2008, she entered Negeri 6 Salatiga junior high school. In the junior high, she nearly won another reward. Which are 10th place at a poem competition. In 2011, she entered high school in SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga. At that time, she won another award which are 2nd place at English drama competition of West Java and D.I.Y regions. And after that she won the 1st place in Dance competition in Salatiga. Now, she is studying at Satya Wacana University.
In 2006, when she was in elementary school, she followed an art class. That make her become a person like now. After 2006, she continued learn art more. She liked art very much. Therefore at 2007, she took another art class.
However, that changed when something happen. At 2012, she got struck by some illness. The first illness was gastroenteritis or commonly called ulcer. That illness was took away her happiness that time. She can’t take another art class again. It really ruined her life. She could only focus on her studies not her hobbies because of that. She had to put away her dream to become artisan in the future because of that. After that in 2013, she got struck by another illness that is HNP (Herniated Nucleus Pulposus).
The explanation of this illness is prolapse of intervertebral disk through a tear in the surrounding annulus fibrosus. The tear causes pain, when the disk impringes on an adjacent nerve root, a segmental radiculopathy with paresthesias and weakness in the distribution of the affected root results. To put it sort it was a dangerous illness. She must go through on therapy in 2012 until now. The therapy is for both of her illness. Even she took such therapy, she remains strong. She tried to look happy on the outside but thorn in the inside.
On 2014 she got entered this Faculty of Language and Literature. She cheered a little bit. She got a many friends in this faculty. She covered her problem up for herself. So anybody near her does not feel sorry to her. She keeps struggling to fight for her illness. Her spirit is always high when her friends are near her. “Enjoy the life to it is fullest” she said. That word always makes her spirit up when she was down. It was her motto up until now. Up until now she never complains about the thing. She just goes with the flow. Even everybody does not know about her illness, she remains strong. She is like some lone warriors that go on to fight some Mighty beast all up alone. She keeps smiled and cheered everybody near her. She is truly a hero.
